"Nothing's Sacred"

by Lewis Black

Recently with his own show on the national station, Comedy Central, comedian Lewis Black now follows up his comedy tour with an autobiographical book.  Topics abound from his family life as a kid, to his opinion about many factions of religion and the country's ever driving need for bottled water over the near free version coming from the back yard hose.

Black presents what one thinks is an entertainer's version of Left Wing Liberalism at the beginning of the book, only to come in with a strong, original opinion driving his own ideas about the state of the union and the leader there of.    Packed with smacking wit and bursts of hilarity, Black helps those who were left licking their wounds after a disappointing election year, the war and now the devastating economy to see that humor and intelligence is not dead.  It was just hiding at Comedy Central.

This book is part brain candy, part intro to Liberal activism.  I would recommend it to older teenagers and adults alike.  Even if you haven't seen his commentary on The Daily Show's "Back In Black" segment, you can't miss this man.

Pick up a copy of "Nothing's Sacred", sit back, and absorb Lewis Black's wit and wisdom.

He's worth your time.
