Lewis "Scooter" Libby Indicted

by Dody

Lewis Libby, the Vice President's Chief of Staff, is in some serious hot water it seems. He is being charged with lying in a court of law. While this is serious trouble, why didn’t the prosecutor go full boar on him? I mean this is the man that was revealed as "the source" for outing the CIA agent Plame. All this hubbub to get who revealed what about whom and nobody’s going down for treason?!!

Ok, let me get this straight. An innocent and law abiding citizen goes to jail for doing her job as a reporter, keeping her sources anonymous when they ask for it, because what she knew was who put an operatives life in danger. They made a BIG stink over this and now that they have their man they aren’t going to prosecute to the full extent of the law.

This is the same man who got in trouble during the Nixon administration in the Watergate nonsense.

Surprised are ya! Well, I’m not.

This man is obviously a low life that would betray his country by revealing who a covert agent was and put any contacts of hers in danger as well. This could’ve ruined years of her work keeping our butts safe. Why isn’t he being tried for treason?

Maybe you don’t think it’s treason. Well, let’s look it up. Treason: betrayal of one’s country. While were at it, let’s look up terrorism. Terrorism: Use of terror to enforce demands. Hmmm…sounds familiar.

Plame’s husband disagrees with the Administration over the Iraq war and gives supporting evidence to prove it’s crap. Then suddenly his wife’s life is thrown in to danger by being revealed as an agent.

Sounds like terrorism to me!

So to hell with it. Let’s use the Patriot Act to put this guy in "Gitmo" and let the other terrorists have at him! It would be like imprisoning a judge with all the people he sentenced. To hell with his day in court.

He’s a terrorist! No appeals for him! He’s a terrorist!

Wouldn’t that be a media circus to watch.
